Rveiling® PLLA-PEG Lyophilized Powder is an injectable regenerative material based on PLLA-PEG copolymer, featuring excellent biocompatibility and complete biodegradability. This sterile white lyophilized powder exhibits a uniform porous sponge-like microstructure, facilitating storage and transportation.

Upon reconstitution with injectable water prior to use, it forms a uniform, slightly milky-white suspension with stably dispersed PLLA-PEG microspheres. By adjusting the dilution ratio, the clinical injection concentration can be precisely controlled to flexibly accommodate filling and regenerative needs in different tissue areas.

This product is indicated for restoring soft tissue volume loss in multiple areas including the temporal region, cheeks, forehead, and hands. Post-implantation, it induces fibroblast activation and collagen regeneration, progressively achieving natural autologous tissue reconstruction and long-term volume maintenance. This dual mechanism delivers facial rejuvenation and skin quality improvement.

Mechanism of Action:

The core function of Rveiling® PLLA-PEG lies in inducing the body to replace the implanted material with its own collagen, achieving a fundamental shift from “filling” to “regeneration.” Following injection, PLLA-PEG microspheres function as a biocompatible scaffold, recognized by the body as a “microenvironment” requiring repair. This process triggers a controlled, non-inflammatory foreign body response—essentially activating core tissue regeneration signals to precisely recruit key repair cells like macrophages and fibroblasts to the target area.

Activated fibroblasts recognize the microspheres as “templates” for attachment and proliferation, entering a highly active synthetic state. Surrounding the microspheres, they continuously and efficiently synthesize and secrete Type I and Type III collagen, forming a novel extracellular matrix. This phase establishes the material foundation for reconstructing tissue volume and mechanical support.

As newly synthesized collagen undergoes continuous deposition, cross-linking, and maturation, a permanent support network constructed from autologous tissue gradually forms. Concurrently, the PLLA-PEG microspheres—functioning as a temporary scaffold—degrade at a predetermined rate through ester bond hydrolysis into lactic acid. This acid is ultimately metabolized into carbon dioxide and water, excreted naturally through physiological processes.

Sterilization Method

The PLLA-PEG microspheres and other substances within the pre-filled penicillin vial undergo irradiation sterilization. This product is for single-use only.
